We offer extensive inventory lines covering plumbing, hardware, tools & accessories, electrical, paint, lumber and building materials, lawn & garden, and outdoor living products to our dealer network across the Eastern US via our owned, transportation fleet.
Position Summary:
The Vice President (VP) of Sales is an executive sales role responsible for strategic guidance and organizational development of the sales function across the Wallace Distribution organization. This VP role is a critical function for the company and provides unifying direction for all sales and customer service functions. Further, the VP role sets and drives incremental sales growth targets and develops a leadership pipeline for regional and divisional roles that report up to the VP role.
The fundamental role of the VP of Sales is to develop and administer a selling program that effectively contributes to our annual goals. The VP of Sales will decide how best to assess and train the Sales professionals, recommend the compensation and incentives to use to motivate the team, what type of clients to focus organizational selling efforts on, and how the sales function should be structured for maximum contact with our customer dealers and prospects.
